There are currently 200,000 foreign-language residents living around the Helsinki area and 400,000 living in Finland. Over the next 15 years, the number of foreigners living in the Helsinki metropolitan area alone has been estimated to double. The number of foreigners living in Finland is expected to grow most strongly in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area and Southwest Finland.
The Green Sisu is intended for both Finnish-born and those who have moved to Finland.
The Green Sisu is the association for those interested in spreading green values and getting to know them in English and in Finnish. The membership in Green Sisu means also a membership in the Green party in Finland. The Green Sisu is suitable for all those Finnish residents who don’t yet speak Finnish or Swedish, as well as for those who speak these languages fluently. The Green Sisu is intended for both Finnish-born and those who have moved to Finland. The main languages of the Green Sisu association are Finnish and English.
